Silt Fences are mostly useful for Perimeter Control and can also be used as interior controls below disturbed areas where runoff may occur in the sheet form or rill erosion. How it works?
Silt Fence tied by wooden or metal posts digged into the ground, so it’s inexpensive and relatively easy to remove. The fabric ponds sediment-laden stormwater, causing sediment to be retained by the settling processes.
